Тут две песни вполне по теме... Трека, а чего еще?
Первую, наверное, все знают, а вот вторую никогда прежде не слышал.

да... а меня вот, например (это немного не в тему, но все же), всегда расстраивало минимальное присутствие космической темы в популярной музыке (западной - в нашей вообще мало что присутствует ). На ум приходит если только final countdown, ну и что-то из модного несколько лет назад фолк-металла (ну или как там всяких фалконеров-эдгаев-блайндов называть - Эльф должен знать). Причем даже в этом жанре поют все больше про хоббитов и ельфов. Обидно

Эльф то знает, и на самом деле есть такие прицеденты. Ну не фолк-метал конечно, но что-то рядом.
Только вот "популярной музыкой" эти группы назвать никак язык не поворачивается.. На самом деле в тяжелой музыке данная тема частенько проскакивает, хотя конечно не самая популярная.
Пожалуй чуть позже приведу несколько особо удачных примеров.

Дайнис, если ты про нашу популярную муыку, которая звучит по радио и из ТВ, то лучше уж пусть вообще не поют. Недавно включила ТВ и чуть не упав в обморок, от услышанных слов песни, сразу его выключила

Ага, вот только Родденберри родился не в СССР, а в США
 
Dyonis_Rakhl, Scott, еще можно устроить хоровое пение федератской версии гимна СССР. НАпример, на КОНе Только нужно, чтобы кто-нибудь его спел и записал, чтобы послушать как оно правильно звучит. Я, например, при первом (и пока единственном) прослушивании песни с параллельным чтением текста, временами выбивались из мелодии - сложновасто для человека без СЛУХА.

Сочувствую, что это зрелище тебе не было доступно. А я лично присутствовал при этом, неоднократно. Можно описывать разными прекрасными словами. Но насчет звезды - точно! Именно так все и выглядит на самом деле. Обалденное чудо - старт ракеты! На всю жизнь остается в памяти!

В реале конечно же не видел - но в записях ракеты действительно выглядят четырехгранными звездами после старта Разумеется такой эффект производит их двигатель.

Сочувствую, что это зрелище тебе не было доступно. А я лично присутствовал при этом, неоднократно. Можно описывать разными прекрасными словами. Но насчет звезды - точно! Именно так все и выглядит на самом деле. Обалденное чудо - старт ракеты! На всю жизнь остается в памяти!

Я имела ввиду, что эти слова дают четкую ассоциацию именно не со стартом и после удачным полетом, а со взрывом на старте. Лично у меня в мозгу, при прочтении строчки, всплыли кадры взрыва Челенджера - я к этому.

Хочется сказать пару слов о космической электронной музыке, есть замечательная композиции на эту тему у Андрея Климковского. У него тоже можно кое-где найти трек-мотивы.
 
Андрей Климковский - "последний из могикан" российской электронной музыки, человек, о креативной неистощимости которого ходят легенды, который способен не теряя энергетического заряда в музыке приковывать внимание слушателей на протяжении четырехчасового концерта, энтузиазм которого таков, что он создает в системах трехмерного моделирования визуальное сопровождение к своей музыке.

На творчество Климковского оказали большое влияние такие композиторы, как Didier Marouani (Space, Paris-France-Transit), Jean-Michel Jarre, Klaus Schultze, Kitaro и его произведения придутся по вкусу всем поклонникам этих групп, а также всем кто любит спокойную, немного медитативную музыку (хотя Климковский в своем творчестве не замыкается на этом стиле и иногда выдает зажигательные, чуть ли не танцевальные, композиции).
